Key West '09

Just back from our annual trip to paradise. I don't know the name of the tree in the first photo, but it has the weirdest smelling flowers.

In photo no. 2 I caught a gecko on a tiki. A pairing not at all uncommon here.

No.3: The twilight hours are magickal so I couldn't resist the Dead End.

And no.4, Mother Mary Star of the Sea, is for u Raymantico!

Beatnik

Just got this in the post from Robert Chunn. A great friend and artist of both hand and mind. He's recently moved to Mexico (you know, "lawyers guns n money"!) to do some painting. Thanks Amigo

Night Train to Kona Town

I recorded this on a hillside above Kona with this $10.00 uke & hillbilly humbucker. (I added the Ashbory bass and drums later.)

Cow-skully

In the Boontling language "Cow-skully" means "Desolate." This photo was taken at the southern most point of the US on the Big Is. of Hawaii. A truly desolate & eerie place.

Music: Gilbert on drums. Me on cbg, bass, and Teisco
